What is a Survey?
It is the examination of the general condition of the boat by an expert and promulgation of a related report. The report includes findings regarding the general condition of the boat, possible accident history, electrical, machinery and sanitary systems, and aims to compile the necessary data before purchasing or insuring.
Why is it done?
Like any commercial property, boats should also be subjected to a detailed inspection before purchase or for insurance. Getting support from an expert is considered as a precaution against losing money in this important investment.
How Is a Survey Done?
On land: The hull of the boat is examined with a hard plastic hammer (tapping test), moisture gauge, hardness gauge and thermal camera, and connections such as the propeller-rudder and other underwater elements are checked.
At sea: The boat's engine is run at various speeds, speed is recorded, engine vibration and temperatures are measured.
Inside the boat: Electrical, water, fuel systems and living spaces are examined in detail.

What is Our Difference?
The report written as a result of the yacht survey includes texts containing detailed information about the hull, deck and systems of the boat, numerous photographs supporting these texts, a summary of the survey process and the statements of the surveyor. The report is written on our company's letterhead and signed by the surveyor.
Basic pricing is €20 + VAT, per feet based on boat length. Depending on the situation, travel and accommodation expenses may be added to this price.
The final price is calculated on a project basis, taking into account the age of the boat, its construction material and location.
